A voice sarcastic in nature speaks, “So this is how they conduct disciplinary trials now”
Before him in the viewport he’s sees 3 vessels. Two of these vessel’s definitely defiant class, the third appears to be a no-discreet long range warp cargo ship. The escorts in a protective formation.
“Interesting, cant even read the registry, no running lights.”
“Computer hail lead vessel”
“This is captain Sean Griffin, I have been ordered to this location, for disciplinary action.”
A non descript female voice, “Disengage Shields, and Prepare for Beam In, no tri-corders allowed.”
“Icey, computer drop shield, set orbit path round lead vessel,” Shawn sighs
Transport ends in a fade of light to the dark of a room., judging by the room size he was not on the defiants.
“Sir, reporting as ordered.”
The voice reveiled itself to be a man in his 40’s
“Im Admiral Tsai, in charge of a newly revamped Section 31”
Shawn laughs, “31, about as real as the borg being gone”
Tsai, “We are real, and you are about to become part of this myth.”
Tsai the reads

Shawn “Im sorry sir, how is this a disciplinary action.”
Tsai, “Im sorry Captain it’s the Worst kind, promotion. Captain to Starship Captain, with all the benefit’s the rank affords”
Tsai , “You,ll report to Star Eden, receive command of a small saber class ship, and a fresh crew. The admiralty of the base will afford you more information as soon as you are there. Our one request is, kinda cliché’.
Shawn, “What is that,”
Tsai, “In the future, a project will be introduced to you, gooday, good luck, and enjoy command.”
“Bridge beam our guest to the runabout”
Back on the Runabout, Shawn starts to process his future command
“Computer, plot course Eden, engage warp 7.”
“Command, I don’t understand. Are they sure they want me.” he mutters.
Computer, “Incoming Message, 44th command.”
