I believe the main meeting hub for Federation is a starbase orbiting Earth. I think that is where you start when you log in. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

That said, I know the devs have said that DS9 will be in the game. I think it'd be cool to meet up there. There are some rumors that eventually, fleets will be able to get their own starbase in-game.

What I wouldn't mind doing is raiding enemy fleet starbases. Like in the previous MMOs from Cryptic I believe after one point in CoV we were able to attack bases. I never participated in it but I remember reading and watching vids about it.

Yea exactly bring down the starbases defenses then board it and if you succeed against them you get some epic quality item but only one.

We had better cut this s*** out before the video game gods become enraged and jealous at our hope and faith in Cryptic. On a whim they could decide to strike STO with seven plagues (all seven are bugs, lol) and render the game unplayable for generations. No, it's best to just assume the game is full of painful drudgery until proven otherwise and even then offer a sacrifice of WoW game cards to praise the game gods on high, lest we incur their wrath.

dude having our own starbase would rock! cause i mean honestly? What fleet admiral wants a bunch of captains making a mess of his bridge? i for one don't wanna have to scrub the rugs after craming 30 people onto my small bridge. Plus, Starbases may have vending machines to help us stay awake for the inevitable Death By Power Point briefing we will recieve for large scale missions. =P
