One cool thing that came with the HL2 collector's edition (which I pre-ordered back in the day) was a copy of HL1 that was exactly the same except it used the HL2 engine. I'm also quite fond of the t-shirt I got for pre-ordering from Best Buy.

Theres a group of developers actually remaking the original Half Life game with Half Life 2 graphics. Its free and you only need a single source game to play it since every valve game is based off the same engine (Source Engine). It will also have coop maybe not on release thought.
